Expertise

Nicki has experience advising clients in a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, due diligence, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, commercial advice and compliance issues.

Working alongside the corporate and commercial team partners, Nicki has strong analytical skills, legal drafting skills and a keen attention to detail.

Prior to joining SBA Law in 2023, Nicki spent 4 years at general commercial law firm Riordan & Riordan.

Education

Nicki holds a Bachelor of Laws from University of Western Australia / Deakin University and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Monash University.

Nicki’s recent corporate and commercial transactions include:

  • Advising Orb Health, a Texas-based provider of remote patient monitoring and chronic care management services, in relation to its recent sale to Respiri (ASX:RSH), an Australian Connected Care Management Company providing remote patient monitoring services on behalf of healthcare providers and organisations.
  • Advising Atomic212° (Australia's largest independent media agency) and its shareholders on its sale to Publicis Groupe ANZ.
  • Acting for Hong Kong based Nissin Foods Company Limited (Hong Kong Stock Code 1475) in its acquisition of ABC Pastry, a leading manufacturer of frozen food products in Australia.
  • Assisting Riskonnect, a world leader in integrated risk management solutions, in relation to various aspects of its acquisition of Camms, a leading provider of enterprise cloud-based software for governance, risk and compliance.
  • Advising a listed company through the process of delisting from ASX.
  • Assisting a target listed company in various aspects of a scheme of arrangement.
  • Advising a listed company in relation to ASX escrow requirements relating to the acquisition of mining tenements.
